1. Q. What method does the private teacher use to teach viola/violin lessons?

A. The best way to grasp a teacher's approach is a trial lesson, but to get an idea, methods used include the suzuki violin method for beginner violin (with additional note reading exercises) and
standard violin repertoire/etudes for more advanced violin students. See complete details on Teaching Method.


2. Q. What is the cost of lessons?

A. Lessons that take place at the teacher's place of residence cost $30.00 for a half hour and $60.00 for an hour.


3. Q. Should I rent or buy an instrument?

A. This largely depends on the level and age of the student. Advice will be given on a case by case basis.
